Cancellation, Deposit & Booking Policies
A deposit in the amount of a one night stay (3 nights for stays of seven nights or longer) is required for all reservations; the balance of your reservation is due upon arrival.
PAYMENTS ACCEPTED: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Cash, and Bedandbreakfast.com gift certificates (and Barter--please inquire!). All deposits and payments are due in U.S. funds only. We do not accept personal checks as payment upon arrival. Rates are based on single or double occupancy and are subject to change without notice. Room rates do not include Maine state sales tax.
Cancellation Policy: Your deposit is refundable if the cancellation is made UP TO 14 days in advance of the check-in Date, less a $25 administrative fee per room. Last minute cancellations greatly impact our small business: Cancellations WITHIN 14 days of the arrival date, regardless of reason, will result in a forfeiture of total deposit amount. Cancellations WITHIN 3 days of the arrival date, regardless of reason, will result in a charge for the entire stay. There are no refunds for shortened stays or later arrivals.
A credit card is required and will be held on file. To complete your reservation however, an invoice will be emailed for the deposit amount, along with the confirmation. Once you review the reservation, payment of the invoice will indicate that you agree with all the details. If the invoice is not paid by the due date, the credit card you provided will be used for the deposit.
