Cancellation, Deposit & Booking Policies

BOOKING POLICY:
Your reservation is subject to availability and is not guaranteed until 1) we process your deposit, and 2) you receive written confirmation from Starts International Hawaii, Inc.

CHANGE POLICY:
After your reservation is confirmed, reservation changes will be allowed subject to availability and the following fees:
- 6o days or more prior to check-in date: No Charge
- 59 days or less prior to check-in date: $100.00 per Change Request
All change requests must be sent in writing and confirmed by us in writing to be valid.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellations are required in writing and are effective upon receipt by Starts International Hawaii, Inc. Cancellations received in writing after 12:00PM (Hawaii Standard Time) as described below are subject to the following penalties:
- 31 days or more prior to check-in date: $100.00 Charge
- 30 to 15 days prior to check-in date: $200.00 Charge
- 14 days or less prior to check-in date: 50% Cost of Stay Penalty
- No Show: 100% Cost of Stay Penalty
- No Refunds for Early Check Outs

STARTS INTERNATIONAL HAWAII VACATION RENTAL Occupancy Term and Conditions.
Upon the payment you are agreed with the followings terms and conditions:

- Guest(s) must abide by the condominium HOUSE RULES and any violation by Guest(s) or their invitees are the sole responsibility of the Guest. A copy of the House Rules is located in the unit. - Smoking is strictly prohibited in the building, including in the room and veranda. Violation of this rule is subject to fines and special cleaning if violated.
- Pets (other than service animals) are not allowed in the unit.
- Please remove outdoor footwear while in the unit, to avoid incurring extra cleaning.
- Please use curtain rod or pull when opening curtains, to prevent damage to equipment.
- Please close lanai doors before exiting unit, to prevent wind from damaging unit items and negative pressure from building up in the unit, which will make it difficult to open and close doors.
- For Maintenance and Cleaning issues, during business hours of Monday through Friday 9AM-6PM except bank holidays, please call our office at (808) 947-2280 ext.207. For After Hours emergencies, defined as stoppage of the plumbing drain system, a water leak that requires shut off of the main water service to the residence to prevent serious damage to the building or furnishings, and complete loss of electricity, please contact Security. NOTE: Lack of air conditioning service is NOT an emergency.
- In case of medical, fire or police emergencies, please call 911.

- Check-Out Time is 10AM. Late check-out is not permitted without advance approval, and may be subject to extra charges.
- Check-Out Procedure: Please leave keys on the dining table and lock unit door on the way out. There is a $150 charge for each un-returned security keys (ROYAL KUHIO fob key only)
- Charges after check-out. Unit are inspected by Housekeeping after check out. There will be additional charges for damages other than wear and tear to the unit. In the event of accidental breakage of or damage to items in the room, please contact our office (808-947-2280 ext. 207) or by email as soon as possible.
- All charges are subject to Hawaii general excise tax.
